Fresher's day & 4th Student Club Inauguration - 2019

            The Fresher’s day 4th Student Club Inauguration was celebrated in Adhiyamaan College of Agriculture and Research (ACAR) at Athimugam Shoolagiri (TK.), Krishnagiri (Dt.) on 25th September 2019.  This function was started with Tamil Thaai vaazhathu.

            Welcome address was given by Dr. D. Elumalai Assistant Professor (Sericulture.), Second year Coordinator of ACAR welcomed Dr. V. Ambedhgar, Director TRRI, Aduthurai, Dr. H. Vijayaraghavan , Principal, ACAR. Mr. P. Kalamegam , Manager of ACAR,  Faculties, Students,   Non-teaching Staffs and Others.

            In his Special address he welcomes all first-year students to ACAR, he also mentioned about the difference between ACAR infrastructure and other college infrastructure. He was mentioned about the importance of parents, and give respect parents and Teachers. He also mentioned about the benefits of Student clubs. Finally, he wished this programme grant success.

 Presidential Address: Dr. H. Vijayaraghavan, Principal, ACAR.

            In his presidential address, he mentioned about infrastructure of our college no other private college have this much infrastructure. He also stated about club day that the club day is unique and the students actively participate in all events to improve their extracurricular knowledge.  He appreciates all second- and third-year students for their active participation to invite their juniors

            In his special address, he appreciated the management for the facilities and infrastructure of this college, no other private college have this much infrastructure. He mentioned about the benefits of fresher’s day and after the fresher’s day there much good relationship between juniors and seniors. He mentioned one important quote that “If wealth is lost something is lost but if our character is lost everything is lost”

Vote of thanks

            Ms. Dharani, Second year student of ACAR  proposed the vote of thanks. In her address she was thanked to Dr. V. Ambedhgar, Director TRRI, Aduthurai, Dr. H. Vijayaraghavan , Principal ACAR, Mr. P. Kalamegam , Manager of ACAR,  for their support and encouragement . She also thanked Faculties and all other who were helped directly or indirectly for making this function in grand success. Finally, she thanked Students who actively participated and supported and all the workers in ACAR campus

College and Hostel Day 2019

            The 3rd  College & Hostel day 2019 was celebrated in Adhiyamaan College of Agriculture and Research (ACAR) at Athimugam Shoolagiri (TK.), Krishnagiri (Dt.) on 05thJuly 2019. This function was started with Tamil Thaaivaazhathu, welcome address was given by Ms. A.Preethi (Join Club Secretory). She had welcomed the chief guest Dr. N. Barathi, Scientist & Entrepreneur, Founder Director of Growmore Biotech Pvt Ltd., Hosur; Dr.H. Vijayaraghavan Principal, Faculties, Non-teaching Staffs, students and others.

Special Address: Dr. N. Barathi, Scientist & Entrepreneur, Founder Director of Grow more Biotech Pvt Ltd.,

            He emphasized that the Agriculture is not like other education it is a unique and Business/service oriented course. In his speech shared his ideas on business oriented opportunities in agriculture and allied sectors, promoting research among student and professional skill development.   

             He highlighted that the student should identified new and unique business oriented areas like bamboo tissue culture, nursery, mushroom cultivation etc. In his motivational speech he shares his valuable experience, and clarified various steps/constrains in the business oriented sectors in Agriculture. He also insisted all the students to involve lab work during the practical class, because there are lot of difference between theory and practical. In his speech he also compares TNAU infrastructure during in his study period and present infrastructure in ACAR.  Distribution of prize of merits were presented in due acknowledgement to the students for their performance in various extracurricular activities. Hostel day activities like Sack race, Water filling, Musical chair, Lemon on the spoon, Stone walking, Tug of war and  Eating competition. Hostel day activities like Floor art, Hair dressing, worth out of waste, cook without fire,  and Vegetable carving. At the end a spectacular cultural programme was presented by our student.

            Ms. V. Pooja (Mess Secretary) was proposed the vote of thanks. In her address she was thanked to Chief Guest; Principal of ACAR; Manager of ACAR, for their support and encouragement. She also thanked teaching and non-teaching staff and all other who were helped directly or indirectly for making this function in grand success. Finally she thanked students who actively participated and supported and all the workers in ACAR campus.
