SPOKEN ENGLISH

The course titled “Lingua Langue (Spoken English)” conducted by the Department of English. The main goal of this course is to help you improve your spoken English skills to enable you to communicate more effectively in English. Our goal is to assist the student in developing skills in the goal areas (Intelligibility, Vocabulary, Grammar, Presentation skill, personality development and Interactive communication) so that any deficiencies in skill or practice do not interfere with communication. The objectives of this course are,

• Develop their intellectual, personal and professional abilities.
• Acquire basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in order to communication with speakers of English language.
• Acquire the Phonetic competence necessarily required in various life situations.

This course mainly designed for students who wish to begin taking advantage of some of the higher-level functionality in Spoken English to develop fluency. The course is mainly focused on Idioms and phrase to express subtle meanings or intentions. Idioms are generally used to convey the meaning of an expression or a word. Sometimes, Idioms and Phrases can be very useful in explaining the meaning compared to the literal word. They make the student understand with a poetic touch to the writing and enables the pupils to develop their standard English.

DIGITAL LITERACY PROGRAM

The Event titled “Digital Literacy Program” conducted by the Department of Physical Science (Computer Science). The Objectives of the Course is aimed at taking Students excel skills to the next level. Students will be able to apply complex functions within Excel to manage, manipulate, analyze and visualize data and Students will learn the basic tools used in Adobe Photoshop to create and edit images. Students will learn how to optimize images and save images in proper file formats. Students will learn color selection and conversion as it relates to both Web and business publications.
