Yoga Classes are conducted for students every week.


The International Yoga  day  was celebrated in Adhiyamaan College of Agriculture and Research (ACAR), Athimugam,  Shoolagiri (TK.), Krishnagiri (Dt.) on 21st June 2018.  The function was started with Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu and lighting of Kuuttu Vizhakku. The Welcome address was given by Ms. S. Deva Dharshini I B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture student. The occasion was blessed by the presence of Mr. M. Paras Shree, President, Patanjali Yoga Samiti, Hosur branch, Tamil Nadu. Dr. H. Vijayaraghavan, Dean, ACAR, addressed the gathering and highlighted the origin of Yoga and its significance in building the body and soul together. The magic age for Yoga is eight years and from there on the practice would help to improve the concentration and convergence of our thoughts and results in betterment of life. The stress faced by our younger generation will get eased by Yoga.

            This was followed by the Yoga Demonstration in which M. Paras Shree, President  Patanjali Yoga Samiti performed spectacular event. The students have followed and got acclaimed.

            First demonstration starts with yoga song then demonstrations on  pranayama, all muthras, suriyanamaskar and asanas like komukkaasanas, padmasanas, ekapathasanas and pachaimuthasanas  followed in a phased manner.

            The students have performed Yoga in a most appreciable manner and the Chief Guest astonished to see the caliber and requested for further encouragement and participation in national level.
